Because of this, he tries to keep his personal life very secret, but often fails. It's too hard for him to lie and deny things about his life.
With his gentle smile, David appears shy, but is definitely not. He loves joking around and being outside. It's hard for him to do something wrong because he's got such a strong conscious, so sometimes he comes across a little prudish. It's rare that he doesn't have a twinkle in his eyes unless he's being serious, which isn't often.
History: David was born in Mexico City to his Mexican father and French mother. His father was a photographer and his mother, a model, so naturally he was a beautiful baby. There was much debate about his name, seeing how they wanted to capture both cultures best they could. Finally, they settled on David Gaetan Castillo.
When he was young, his mother divorced his Father. It was a quiet divorce, no harsh feelings, just mutual disagreements. David lived stayed with his father while his mom moved back to France. He stayed in contact with his mom, but never really felt to close to her. At a young age his father took him to photo shoots, and eventually started to shoot his son. After a few years of being a model, David gave it up. At 7 he had decided he wanted to be a doctor and should finish with school.
School was tough for David and his grades slipped. At 17, when he graduated from high school, he decided to go back into modeling and make some money in his own. Moving to New York, he found work with Rose Murray, where he has continued to work for the past 7 years.
