Personality: Raphael used to be what people would thought a model should be; he used drugs and was alcoholic, and partying all night long before crashed at a hotel room with another model and/or celebrity. Or to be exact, celebrities. He was also mean and cynical, though now he was nothing like it anymore. He could be mean when he want to, but most of the time he will be sweet and kind.
Though he did not let anyone else see it, Raphael was paranoid of getting old. He hated the idea of how younger, more beautiful models will be replacing him as the cover soon after he was thirty. He also got very moody when the subject of his age being touched.
History:Raphael was born to a working class couple back in Ireland. His father left his family when he was three, leaving his mother taking care of him and his three sisters. He didn't have normal childhood like most of children of his age, since he lived in dangerous neighborhood as well as too poor to waste much money for leisure. He dropped out from high school when he was seventeen and began to work at a bowling hall nearby.
He was discovered when he was eighteen, by a small, local agency. Though he always thought modeling was a woman's job, he still agreed to let them take a couple of shots--then they realized the camera loved him! He was landed a good contract sooner than anyone with no experience and soon the contract was bought by bigger agency that sent him to London to be paraded in front of designers and celebrities alike during London Fashion Week. He walked down the catwalk several times a week, and before the month ended, he found out he was already bought by another agency again and this time sent to the United States of America.
Three years after he moved there, the agency that bought his contract decided to let him go for younger, thinner models. Stressed, the young man (he was just twenty two by then) began to be heavily alcoholic as well as starting to use drugs to help himself getting thinner. The agency did not like it when the media found this out and they kicked him from their agency, along with throwing out his things from the luxurious apartment he lived at. When he had nowhere to go he went to a fashion show, slipping inside the backstage, and sat there, hoping to be discovered again. And he did not need to wait long, since he was already quite popular, to be approached.
And the agency that approached him when he was shunned from the modeling world was the Rose Murray Modeling agency. He had been with them since then, recovering from his addiction to both alcohol and drugs, before he landed with the exclusive contract with all those brands he could only dreamed of when he was still with the old agency--namely Versace, Hugo Boss, and Club Monaco.
